Last updated: 13.06.2026This Privacy Policy explains how the BabyClimate mobile application ("BabyClimate," "the app," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use it. BabyClimate is built to help parents and caregivers check the current temperature and get clothing suggestions for babies and young children. We have designed the app to collect as little information as possible.By using BabyClimate, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.-- Summary- BabyClimate does not require you to create an account.
- The baby information you enter (name and age) is stored only on your device and is never sent to us or to anyone else.
- We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools.
- We do not access your camera, microphone, photos, or contacts.
- To show you the local temperature, the app shares your location (or the location you choose) with a third-party weather data provider. This is the only information that leaves your device, and it is used only to retrieve the current weather.
- In-app purchases are processed by Apple, not by us. We never see or store your payment details.-- Information We Do Not CollectWe do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information on our own servers. Specifically, we do not:- Require registration, login, or an account.
- Collect your name, email address, or phone number.
- Use analytics or crash-reporting services.
- Use advertising networks or tracking technologies.
- Access your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, or files.-- Information Stored on Your DeviceWhen you add a baby profile, you may enter the child's name and age. You can add profiles for up to two babies.This information:- Is stored locally on your device only.
- Is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
- Is under your control and is removed when you delete the relevant profile or uninstall the app.Because this data stays on your device, we have no access to it and cannot retrieve, back up, or restore it for you.-- Location and Weather DataTo display the current temperature and provide accurate clothing suggestions, BabyClimate needs to know your location. The app uses your location, device location servicest and sends it to a third-party weather data provider to retrieve the local temperature and weather conditions.- We do not store your location.
- Your location is used only at the moment a weather request is made, in order to return current conditions.
- The handling of your location by the weather provider is governed by that provider's own privacy policy.Our weather data is provided by OpenWeatherMap.You can disable location access at any time in your device's settings, though some features may not work without it.-- In-App PurchasesBabyClimate offers optional in-app purchases that unlock additional features, such as the ability to add a second baby profile and to change the app icon.All purchases are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive, process, or store your payment information. Apple's handling of your purchase and payment data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/-- Articles and ContentThe app includes informational articles about how to dress children for different conditions. Reading these articles does not require any information from you and is not tracked.-- Children's PrivacyBabyClimate is intended for use by parents and caregivers (adults), not by children. While the app lets a parent enter a child's name and age, that information is entered by the adult user and stored only on their device. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children, and no information about a child is ever transmitted to us.-- Data SecurityBecause BabyClimate stores your information locally on your device and does not transmit it to us, your information benefits from the security protections built into your device and operating system. We recommend keeping your device secured with a passcode or biometric lock.-- Your Choices- You can add, edit, or delete baby profiles at any time within the app.
- You can disable location access in your device settings.
- You can remove all locally stored data by deleting the app.-- Changes to This PolicyWe may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may also be communicated within the app or through the App Store listing. Your continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
